We Believe in An America That Does Not Torture

After the lovely homecoming of Alan Johnston, BBC News, just wondered why our hearts go out to him, a fine, innocent human being, while they do not go out to the 10,000 Palestinians jailed in Israel, or the thousands more jailed in Iraq, or those who suffer in isolation in Guantanamo.

Alan has our hearts, but the others, those who remain nameless because not lauded by their colleagues at the BBC, should never be forgotten.
