Maine

Just arrived at a place that I love...Pembroke, Maine. There is no cable television here...just PBS, CBC (on the radio) and God's Own Earth. It makes me realize how little I need to get by in this world...of course, hot water (sad, isn't it?)...plumbing (nice, very necessary) and some wood heat (of course, it's spring, so who needs a really good heating system?)...and some land...not like the urban area I come from where cheek-and-jowl houses create a consternation of contiguity.
